Hideez Group, together with the Institute of Information Technologies JSC, presented a new tool for secure data storage - the Almaz-1K electronic key, which supports Bluetooth wireless technology.
More and more services are moving online. Thanks to an electronic digital signature, you can confirm your identity on the website, remotely manage electronic document management, and even register a new business. A qualified electronic signature is considered similar to a paper version with a regular signature, and therefore is used without additional consent between representatives in electronic communication.
The software development company Hideez Group, together with JSC Institute of Information Technologies, has launched a new product for Ukraine - an electronic key, which allows not only to safely use a personal key and store data, but also to generate an electronic signature via a secure Bluetooth channel. The main difference between the new tool and the previously existing Almaz-1K is the replacement of USB with a built-in Bluetooth wireless communication module, to which other devices can now be connected.
The main advantages of Almaz-1K:
- mobility and versatility of use;
fast user authentication;
use on mobile devices with iOS and Android operating systems;
generation of personal and public keys of electronic signature;
storing private keys in internal memory, which protects data from unauthorized access.
“For the Ukrainian market, our device has unique functions, including compatibility with the iOS and Android mobile platforms, as well as the Windows and MacOS operating systems. With one Almaz-1K electronic key, you can store up to five personal keys and easily connect to different gadgets within range of the Bluetooth signal. This is convenient, since you no longer need to insert the key into the USB port and be afraid of forgetting it there,” commented Oleg Naumenko, head of Hideez Group.
“We believe that the new product will be in demand among users of electronic document management on mobile devices and other software systems. Now, to work with a personal electronic signature key, you do not need a USB port, which not all gadgets have. Users of stationary workstations and laptops with a limited number of USB ports will also be able to appreciate the convenience and versatility of the product,” added Viktor Onoprienko, General Director of the Institute of Information Technologies JSC.
